To a mother of strength and tenacity.
A grand mum of love and capacity
A great grandma of grace and purity
Who would have ever thought that a day would come like this,
Where we would be wishing you goodbye from this face of eternity.
You have done well grandma and that we must say,
From raising children of godly attitude,
To accepting all your grand babies even in old age,
To Holding your great grand children with love and care.
No one can ever say that you didn’t care.
Although we would have wanted you to stay till 120,
But knowing that this is not home,
we must comply, when our Lord calls.
What a thing of joy and hope.
Our Lord must have His way and we must not say no.
Our sweet mama,
we will misss you.
Shall we gather again on your birthday in remembrance of what God did in your life.
Shall we gather at your house again to celebrate victory and love.
Hmmmmm,
But even if we don’t gather again here on earth,
We anticipate the days where we will all gather in Heaven at the feet of our Lord and master Jesus Christ,
Where sicknesses and weakness will not exist,
Poverty and slavery will be far long gone,
Guilt and shame will loose their grip,
For right in His midst exist freedom,
We will be Praising Him all day and all night till His kingdom come!
We will gaze at Him as He reigns forever.
Oh what days of joy they will be.
Mama, It’s being 88 days of you gazing at his beauty and glory,
What an amazing sight to behold.
Until we meet you at home, we shall continue to do the work of the Lord while we are in this foreign land.
Thank you for training our dad in the way of the Lord, because he replicated it in us, and we long to do so with our own children till Jesus be seen all over.
Forever and always, we love you grandma.
Your 11th and 12th Grandbabies,
Esther and Ruth Jarrett (RustherJayy)
